Melissa J. Cunningham Interview – Episode 164

Melissa J. Cunningham turned forty-three this year. She feels that pretty much says it all. Since I am not a 43 year old woman from Brigham City, UT. I have to know more of what that means.

Melissa is a mother of five, who lives with horses, dogs, cats and chickens. When she is not helping her husband run their plumbing business, she loves to run, write, read and soak in the tub although not necessarily in that order.

After overcoming years of struggles and multiple unpublished efforts, Melissa Cunningham wrote the book Reluctant Guardian and was accepted for publishing in only August 2013, just two months ago. And here we are today, book in hand!

Ryan Larsen Interview – Episode 145

Ryan is an avid writer and musician from the time of his childhood in Kearns, Utah. After graduating from Kearns High School with a differentiated degree in music, Ryan attended Salt Lake Community College and the University of Utah where he studied music education. Since 2010, Ryan has been a member of the world-famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir.

 

Many writers have influenced Ryan’s writing, but the three foremost are J.R.R. Tolkien, Stephen King, and P.G. Wodehouse. Luckily, when he writes it doesn’t usually come out as a mix between the three! Episode 132 – Interview with Rebecca Lund Belliston

Rebecca Lund Belliston studied music and information systems at BYU and Utah State, where she met her husband, Troy. They now live in Michigan with their five children. In addition to writing novels, Rebecca writes and arranges music. She wrote her first song at six and has been composing ever since. Her first novel, Sadie, was published by Deseret Book. The sequel, Augustina, is due out late 2013.

Episode 130 – Interview with A.L. Sowards

A.L. Sowards was born in Atlanta, Georgia and grew up in Moses Lake, Washington. As a child, she wrote self-illustrated storybooks at her grandparent’s house and attended her first writer’s conference when she was in third grade.

Now a busy mom of twin toddlers she still loves to read and write. She is the author of Espionage, and her latest is Sworn Enemy published by Covenant Communications.
