Karen John Interview – Episode 2.33

 

Karen W. John was born in the middle of a sibling group of nine children. During her childhood, she and her family performed singing, dancing and playing instruments as they traveled across numerous states and into several countries. This is where she believes she developed a great love for diversity and people. Although she loves to perform, her ultimate passion next to her husband of thirty-seven years and her five sons and their families, is using what she has learned to help others progress and grow.

She earned her Masters Degree in Social Work at Walla Walla University and is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has years of counseling experience including but not limited to individuals, marriage and family, and all forms of addiction. She has taught Social Work classes part-time at BYU-I and speaks often at the university and at ward and stake functions. She currently resides in the Rexburg, Idaho area. Karen is the author of Guilt Free: Using Remorse to Escape the Adversary’s Tool.
